Since 2000, we at Quadriga have stood for curiosity, expertise and entrepreneurship. Rooted in Berlin and networked throughout the German-speaking world, we have established ourselves as a reliable training partner and media company with a strong reputation.
We bring together a growing community of experts and managers from business, politics, science and the media and maintain strong relationships with our network. As a platform for knowledge and exchange, we actively shape future topics.
Our team currently comprises almost 200 people in over 20 teams, organized in two GmbHs - united on one campus in the heart of the capital. Here, we work with customers, teachers and partners as equals and continue to develop together.

since 2000 until today
From our start-up roots to a group of companies with numerous strong brands and a wide-ranging product portfolio - here you can find out how Quadriga has grown over the years under the leadership of the two founders & managing directors Rudolf and Torben.
Our beginnings
Rudolf Hetzel launches today's Quadriga Group with the founding of PolitikAgentur in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Shortly afterwards, the magazine politik&kommunikation is published for the first time, today the leading specialist magazine for political communication in Germany.
Depak and Politkaward
Torben Werner and Rudolf Hetzel jointly found the German Press Academy (depak). In addition, the Politikaward is presented for the first time this year.
First KKongress
The communications congress, today the largest congress for PR & comms in the German-speaking world, takes place for the first time.
Foundation of Quadriga University
The university was officially recognized by the Berlin Senate Department for Education, Science and Research in 2009. Studies have been running since April 2010.
First PMK
The first HR Management Congress, including the evening event "Nacht der Personaler" (Night of the HR Managers), will take place in Berlin and bring together HR experts from all German-speaking countries.
Move to Werderscher Markt
From Kreuzberg to Mitte: The company moves into its current headquarters in the historic Friedrichswerder district.
The Quadriga umbrella brand is created
The two founders announce that all companies will be managed under the Quadriga umbrella brand.
Expansion of digitization
The team is increasingly working remotely away from the office. Congresses, conferences and training courses are now also increasingly taking place digitally or in hybrid form.
Start of the conversion
The next chapter: the Quadriga Campus is being remodeled. The first milestone is the completion and opening of the Quadriga Café at the beginning of 2025.
