Personnel Management Congress

Under the motto "Vision & Reality", we at Quadriga, together with the Federal Association of HR Managers (BPM), hosted the HR Management Congress in Berlin on June 26 and 27. We welcomed around 1500 HR professionals from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to the bcc at Alexanderplatz.

The keynote speakers were former Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, Economy Prof. Dr. Veronika Grimm, Author Sascha Lobo and Chairman of the GIZ Management Board Thorsten Schäfer-Gümbel in the large domed hall.

Other speakers included Ricarda Lang, TRUMPF-CHRO Oliver Maassen and CHRO of the MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group Iris Prüfer.

It was the first time that Matthias Kempf spoke on the PMK stage in his capacity as the new BPM President - and also the outgoing BPM President Inga Dransfeld-Haase was of course part of the party.

New to the moderation team this year was Clara Pfefferwho, together with journalist and PMK veteran Hajo Schumacher led through the two-day program.

The HR Start-up Award was also presented at a ceremony for the tenth time, this year going to WorkFlex went.

Lots of networking specials and the expo on the congress grounds invited participants to get into conversation with colleagues. Of course, we from Quadriga were also represented with a stand where participants could win great prizes in the raffle and on the wheel of fortune.

But it wasn't just at the bcc Berlin that the PMK had plenty of new ideas in store for participants: The PMK Discovery Tours took participants to the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, to the ARD capital city studio and to the Federal Ministry of Justice.

On the evening of the first day of the congress, it was time for the Night of the HR Professionals at the legendary Admiralspalast on Friedrichstraße. After a varied stage program with show acts and a keynote speech by former national soccer coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg then it was time to party on the dance floor!

Many thanks to our entire team of congress managers Helena and Jonathan for the great organization and two exciting event days!

The next PMK will take place on June 25 & 26, 2026.
